Allu Arjun is the Grandson of Late Allu Ramalingaiah and son of producer Allu Arvind. He is also the nephew of Mega Star Chiranjeevi. AlluArjun made his film debut at the age of 2 in Chiranjeevi’s ‘Vijetha’ and in 2001 played a cameo appearance in ‘Daddy’ and Shankar Dada Zindabad in 2008.
Allu Arjun's debut Lead role was in Gangotri, directed by K.Raghavendra Rao. His second film Arya, released in 2004, Arjun claims it to be his first major hit. Arjun's third film Bunny was released in 2005 and his fourth film Happy, which was released in 2006. The film managed to make a decent profit in the Indian movie scene in the U.S.
Allu Arjun well-known star in Kerala. All of Allu Arjun's movies except Gangotri were dubbed into Malayalam. Desamudrudu was renamed to Hero and Parugu was renamed to Krishna when dubbed. This helped him gain some popularity in the state of Kerala.
