Big Boss Tamil Update: While the Bigg Boss Tamil show is incredibly popular among the audience it has also attracted controversy.Puthiya Tamizhagam, a political party fighting for Dalit rights, filed a Rs 100 crore defamation suit against Kamal Haasan and Tamil Channel airing Bigg Boss Tamil reality show. In the legal notice, It’s been mentioned that a comment made by Bigg Boss show host Kamal Haasan had hurt the sentiments of those living in slums and huts.
Gayathri Raghuram had used the word ‘cheri’ while talking about the behavior of a fellow contestant, garnering criticism from all quarters. Puthiya Tamizhagam founder-president Dr. K Krishnaswamy has filed the suit against the actor and the channel amid others over Choreographer Gayathri Raghuram’s comment on the show. She had used the word ‘cheri’ (slum) while talking about a fellow housemate’s behavior on the show.
