Megastar Chiranjeevi wholeheartedly shared his feelings for Mahanati movie and he could not stop his emotions while showering praises on the movie team especially director Nag Ashwin and producers Priyanka and Swapna Dutt. Chiranjeevi mildly warned a journalist who obstructed his emotional flow, by telling the journalist that he is disturbing. Chiranjeevi mentioned that Dutt sisters have fulfilled the gap of Ashwini Dutt not having a son by making him proud of this movie.
