Actress Upasana Singh filed an FIR in Chandigarh against the driver. She claimed that he was driving through an unknown dark stretch in the wrong direction. The incident took place on Sunday. Upasana Singh was on her way back to a hotel in Chandigarh’s Zirakpur after she was done with her day’s shooting. She realized that the driver is misbehaving and thus, promptly alerted the police. The same report states that following her instructions, the police arrived at the place and rescued her.
India Today reports that the driver was identified as Vivek. Upasana had fetched the cab around 10 pm in the night. The PCR van that reached out to Upasana found her near Zirakpur Ring Road. Though the driver initially denied the allegations, after a thorough interrogation, he gave a written apology to the actress. Upasana Singh later withdrew her complaint.
The actress Upasana Singh told the Times of India that though she initially wanted the Car driver to be penalized considering the fact that it could get much serious had the police not reached in time. However, post receiving the driver’s apology letter, she decided to let go of the matter and resumed shooting the following day.
