Idi Naa Love Story Movie Review: Actor Tarun Kumar who was a youth sensation during the early 2000s couldn’t sustain the stardom for too long and his stardom soon faded away with the heavy influx of young heroes. After a self-imposed exile of few years, Tarun is back with ‘Idi Naa Love Story’ to revive his fortunes. Let’s see whether he succeeds in it or not. The film is the remake of 2013 hit Kannada film Simple Agi Ondh Love Story that stars Rakshith Shetty and Shwetha Srivastav in the lead roles.

Idi Naa Love Story Movie Story:
The movie starts with Abhi (Tarun) an ad filmmaker narrating his story to the Police about a girl who complained against him. On his trip to Araku Valley, Abhi comes across a beautiful girl Abhinaya (Oviya Helen). Eventually, both get closer and share their past love stories. When both start liking each other, Tarun receives a big shock when Abhinaya goes to the Police to complain against him. What made her take such a hasty decision and whether they unite back or not is the rest of the story.

Idhi naa love story is said to be a come-back film for lover boy Tarun on this Valentine’s day. This is a movie with a story about the meet of two people who have past relationships with heartbreaks and how the two become one as soulmates. When looked at the story in a single line or as synopsis it looks interesting but the screenplay the writers of the movie has written is very bad and it doesn’t entertain anyone except for the makers.
Idi Naa Love Story Cast and performance:
Tarun as Abhiram is nice. He is still as good as his vintage self and he can bounce back strong with better and nice scripts. Tamil Biggboss fame Oviya Helen is good. Her looks are nice. Her performance is fine for her role. Manchu Manoj who comes to a small role in the movie is good. All other actors are okay.
Idi Naa Love Story Movie Verdict:
On the whole, ‘Idi Naa Love Story’ is a combination of three love stories. One is between Tarun and Oviya and the rest two relate to their past. The simple things which are expected from a basic romantic drama are completely missing in this film. It is good to see Tarun back on screen after a long time and it is his performance which makes us sit through the film in the first place. Apart from this, the romantic drama has absolutely nothing to offer and can be left alone this Valentine’s Day week.
